If you have had a child with another of the same sex as the first fact to keep the same bed, crib or buy new?
I'm tired of the paint in the room of my children and want to completely redo it, but my husband thinks I'm stupid for wanting to redo because we're having another boy. Want to buy crib sheets and repaint or simply keep the same thing?
I'd repaint the room, if I bothered … you want to be a nursery place thats quiet and relaxing for you and your new baby. The bed linen … if I could afford it …. I'd buy it … If not ask for a gift or use the same as for the first child. Reading the other answers it does seem a bit 'means that the eldest son always gets a completely new and the second, third, etc. gets me down … hand all deserve nice things from time to time. You certainly sound like the nesting instinct has kicked in! Do what makes you happy!
