It 'very important to be aware of how we move, use and care of our bodies. Here are some ideas that will help to improve awareness of what you're doing with your body that can cause pain.
Reaching for objects in your body Comfort Zone
Often I find I can reach people from their comfort zone. Your comfort zone is the area you can retrieve an item without moving or expanding any part of your body. And 'the area is in front and directly to the side.
If you intend to retrieve an item from behind your body, leaving the your chair or swivel chair around. Never reach for something, by extending the arms behind the body.
Notice where you put often used items such as your phone number, reference books, pens, binders, etc. are on the desk or on the dresser behind you? You find yourself moving the body or slightly raised in your chair to reach these items?
Is your phone to rotate, causing the body to the right or left when you dial a number? You can move around most to you? Are you getting the picture?
Stop and think about what it would be easier for you all day. Be adventurous! Simple adjustments the desk will create less anxiety during the day and you will feel much more productive and freedom much more! Not to mention much more convenient!
Professional Self Massage and
Neck and shoulder tension can be alleviated with massage. As the body works together as a whole treat yourself to a professional massage full body from time to time. In this massage fast paced computer age is more of a necessity than a luxury.
Add a few drops of essential oil of a small bottle of sesame oil and then apply to the area you are going to massage. Make it much easier to massage your muscles. Massage car is easy to do with many of massage tools on the market.
Lengthen your neck
Simple and sweet spreads to the neck left and right help to ease the oxygen tension built up and get moving again. If your neck feels tight, massage first and then gently stretch. Stretching works best when the muscles are hot. Not extend in a room full of cool drafts if you have tight muscles.
Place your arms Down by Your Side
Do not do anything for approximately 10 -15 seconds every 10 -15 minutes. Let your shoulders back several times an hour for seconds rather than a couple of times a day for several minutes. Longer easier for your back to recover from a computer hard work they have done.
Stand Up
Every hour take a break and rest of the body. Intense computer takes toll on the body. A walk. Drink water. Ask a few shoulder shrugs to ease tension and stop your neighbors office. Who knows? Maybe they need a break too!
