Mobile Arm

A C-Arm refers to a piece of material that is now widely used in hospitals and doctors 'elite' offices. The C-Arm (commonly referred to as x-ray or image fluoroscope) takes X-rays and uses them to make a feed "live", which is then displayed on a TV screen.

C-arms have been used with increasing frequency in the medical field since it was released as a technology in 1950.

There are two main ways in which a C-Arm in the car used: as a set piece of a car is kept in a special projection room, or as a mobile equipment that can be used in a lecture theater, and the like.

Fixed C-arms are used in most hospitals for many different reasons. Some common situations that may require the use of a C-Arm are barium studies, fertility studies, therapeutic studies, cardiac studies, studies of endoscopy, and angiography studies.

Mobile C-arms are smaller than their counterparts fixed so that they can be easily transported to various destinations. As technology continues to grow, mobile C-arms will continue to become more powerful.

Mobile C-arms are typically used in hospitals for therapeutic procedures in the theater, images neurological theater, endovascular images in the theater, and orthopedic imaging in the theater.

While all this sounds very useful for the medical field, it is important to understand the attractiveness of the C-Arm to patients.

C-arms are precise in their reading and help to reduce the amount discomfort that the patient feels. Using C-Arms during various surgical or non surgical procedure helps to minimize invasiveness.

On the financial side of things, the use of C-arms leads to more cost-effective patient care in hospitals.

The versatility of the C-Arms is also something that attracts medical field, these machines can be used during spine surgery, orthopedic and general, as well as urology, vascular, neurovascular, and cardiac applications.
