what, work career jobs in the hospital nursery?
I love children and want to work in the nursery in a hospital. work which would be in the nursery your entire career, and what doe tht schooling take?
It 's always a pleasure to hear that someone is interested in helping others! My idea, if you have time, is the first volunteer in a local hospital that has a pediatric ward or even a neo-pediatric units. This will lead foot in the door and give you the opportunity to work with others on those departments. If you're not old enough (think age is 16) to volunteer Than you want to start at the High School here in So Cal called the "" Heart Academy. This is a course where you will have extra credit opportunities volunteer through your school, a local hospital. Take as many AP classes as you can in high school. Depending on how you want to go with your education, take much as biology, physics, etc.as is possible in high school (still having) fun anyway because it is high school. Then you have a choice of Nurses Pediatric (RN) or a DR. specialized pediatric or neo-pediatrics. Now, with regard to the school – RN takes 4 years of college education gets more intense and DR lasting up to six years (or more) depending on if you take summer school classes. Keep in mind you're doing this because like you, and your passion for many in Med school they tell you that there is no money in pediatrics, given the cost of medical malpractice insurance, etc. You can become a specialist in pediatric LVN – but no more money would RN or DR. I believe you can go to local colleges for LVN in about two years in college. Good luck and keep your passion! The baby industry is a sector in full expansion …..
