Smells of new furniture nursery-how do i get it out?

About 2 months ago my husband and I bought a crib and combo dresser for our baby who is due in about 2 weeks. Got home and outside the boxes and a bad smell. I can not explain the smell. It 'doesn't smell like the hardwood, the most similar to an odor chemical-ish from the finish or lacquer that has on it. It's Making all his clothes in his dresser small alike. It 'really annoying for me. I feel bad to put in a room full of smoke. Anybody have any idea how I can eliminate the odor naturally? I've heard of taking it in the sun all day long period of time to leave breath and get the smoke out, but is that the only way. I have a lot of time really. In any case, this isn't a smell that would be easily covered. Its not one of those dog-pissed-things like carpet and its hard wood so if something I like to spray air freshener it doesn't work .. but thanks

I would open the windows in nursery for the air outside. Point oscillating fan on them, and w / drawers open (remove the clothes so they do not absorb odor-giving them a wash, if not precisely in the air in a couple of days). If you have a ceiling fan, which in turn too much. Air circulation will help to get the smell out faster than anything else. If you run your air conditioner, close the door to keep out the rest of your house. This is not exactly energy efficiency, but is the simplest. 12 week waiting period for a new manger will not help because the new you will have similar problems unless you get an iron crib beaten, but they have their own problems (high costs, the danger of being injured on the bar, etc..) volatile organic compounds (VOCs) used in colored products tend to require more time to dry / cure especially when they are oil-based products. (Also because people should not use oil-based paints to paint the interior spaces, if use of a crib / pack-n-Play w / bassinet included then, I suggest using that (not in children's room) in the meantime. Blow your nose super momma is working which is a good thing in this case. When you can no longer smell the "new" smell, will be sure to put the baby in the cradle. Congratulations! I hope you have an easy delivery with your son. Btw, I found out w / mines that when they say "bouncing baby boy", their meaning when they become old enough to begin to bounce on the furniture or when they get excited about something :-)
