Nursery Decor Stencils

Wooden vases are a beautiful and functional addition to any outdoor environment. If they are placed on a small balcony or inside a large garden, a planter well chosen the wood is complementary and enhance the decor.

Based on my experience as a worker botanical garden, I can say that wooden planters are durable, robust and easily implemented in different styles and finishes. I had fun "that makes them mine."

A splash of color allows the grain of the wood through the exhibition, while adding interest and texture. You can get more creative by adding a stencil pattern to the wood or glass tiles, mosaic for a wonderful effect.
The versatility of timber vessels is unlimited. Can be used as flower pots, containers, hanging planters and self standing. These vessels are amazing at the front doors, on balconies, courtyards, pools and all around any garden.

It 'hard to beat the beauty and strength of wooden planters, but not all woods are created equal. While these time honored planters showcase the finer details of outdoor life, different woods have different properties.

You have plenty of choice out there. Here are some tidbits of information that I gathered based on my personal experience. Also ask a friend or your garden local shop about their thoughts as to decide what type of material is right for you. Sometimes it's hard to find a variety of retail stores and from on-line solution could be better.

• Teak vases are elegant and durable. The wood is resistant to decomposition.

• Cedar Redwood is resistant and has a natural resistance to rot.

Extending the length of the planter timber is easy and requires very little effort. If you decide to treat the wood with a stain or waterproofing agent prior to planting, make sure it is a toxic agent. Next, the line planter of heavy plastic. The plastic will keep water away from wood. Fill the bottom of the planter with a layer of gravel followed by soil leaving about three inches from the top.

Do not be afraid to make your box with a color that matches your taste. Each spot of wood I found your local hardware or the center of the house will do.
