It is always advisable that only a carpenter or a qualified person should install the baby change unit of the station. Changing stations are built with both plastics and metals, and to ensure proper installation and compliance with building codes, baby changing station must properly installed according to manufacturer's instructions.
Baby changing station can be engraved or surface mounted. Both are sure to keep babies and children up to a certain weight. You can choose which model you have installed, depending on where you are mounting it inside your home or toilet commercial. Mounting a baby changing vertical stations:
1. Remove the station from the shipping container and check for any damage transport. Identify the best location for installing the baby changing station. Keep the unit in a place open to the bed, and make sure that there is no game operating properly.
2. Based on the type of wall on which the unit will be mounted, determine the best method of mounting. Not all hardware included may be necessary for proper installation.
3. The unit has four mounting holes in the vertical rear wall of the device, which are positioned on a 16 "center stud. If possible, locate the wood or metal wall studs for fastening the baby changing station in the position desired. If the walls have no studs center as outlined, make sure that at least part of the unit is installed in Stud. Enables or disables the use (supplied) for holes side.
4. Find the pivot where it will bind the left side of the station passing the wall. Measure 63 "from ground (59" ADA), the center of the pin, and mark the wall. Line up the top left mounting hole with this mark, then use a measuring tape and level to mark the remaining three mounting holes. Thus locate the end of the station 31 "from the floor (27" ADA).
5. If the wall has wood studs on 16 "centers, drill 1 / 8" pilot holes to use the marks and the four ¼ "x 3" truncated-cone-tapping screws with washers supplied. If the wall is masonry or tile over wood studs, use a 7 / 32 "masonry drill until they hit the pin, then proceed to drill 1 / 8" pilot holes in the studs and use the four 1 / 4 "x 3" screws with washers supplied.
