Girls Nursery Wall Color?

We are having a girl "Chloe Melissa" due August 5. We decided to go with a classic Pink Toile them bedding and curtains and the furniture is antique white Victorian. We are confronted with an idea of the color wall. Rose seems to work, but I'm worried everything will be too pink in there. All ideas are alternated on a wall color? Thank you!

I worked in the paint department at Home Depot, so questions like these was asked me every day. A good resource is the website Behr.com. You can choose the colors and even order samples mini color test. I met your color Antique White along with the pink theme. Visit your nearby Home Depot and get the sample for Coral Mantle 190A-2. Its a very light pink color and very soft. Keep in mind is a yellow light and most base incandescent light bulbs are white base. I do not know what kind of flooring that are in the room, but that can affect the results of color too. You might think too much about painting 3 walls above the pink color and an accent wall 4 a different contrasting color. I hope this helps Richard

What Nursery Rhyme book or a quote would be nice for a nursery wall?

I want to paint a nursery rhyme book or a quote on the wall of the nest of my son. The only problem is that I can not think of a great use! I'm not using a typical theme, which is going to be a kind of "land". I'm going to use the greens in room. This will also be some kind of bird, perhaps an owl on the wall. What paint colors go with light oak furniture in a nursery?

I just found and bought a light oak bedroom set for children. I intention of dark cherry, and I had a whole room chosen (brown and aqua).
